We are known throughout the southeast for listening to what our clients want and responding with economical, functional and inspiring solutions. Considerate design means that each of our projects must stand up to the same question: Is this project enhancing the daily lives of those around and within it? With this question in mind, we seek to be considerate with each sector of our portfolio: commercial, mixed-use, multi-family residential, adaptive reuse and community work.
We use the latest Building Information Modeling technology to design award-winning sustainable and efficient buildings. We strive to optimize design and create projects that are responsive to program, budget, building code and the surrounding community.
With the client’s unique vision in mind, our experienced staff guides the interdisciplinary design team through schematic design to construction. As a well-established firm in Charlotte, NC, we have strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and the community. These relationships contribute to the assurance that every project runs smoothly.
We are proud to be the design team behind several LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) projects. Some notable green projects include the John James Audubon Lodge at the Sanctuary, the very first building in Mecklenburg County to receive LEED certification, and more recently, Parktowne Terrace Senior Apartment which received the Grand Award for Sustainable Business from the US Green Building Council North Carolina Chapter in 2014. With multiple LEED Accredited Professionals on staff, we have the expertise needed to reduce a building’s impact on the environment and make it a healthier place in which to live & work.
